THINKTANK GMAT Prep Course

The THINKTANK and Testing Office are working together directly to ensure you receive the full benefits of enrolling in a prep course. Included with your prep course, you have the option of taking two practice exams through the UA Testing Office. The practice GMAT is taken on the computer and offers instant scores.

When should I take the exams?

Once enrolled, you can take the practice exams at any time before, during, or after the THINKTANK course.  However, we recommend taking the first practice exam prior to the start day of the course. This will allow you enter the course with a basic understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. Upon completion of the prep course, we suggest you schedule your second practice test. The Testing Office will contact you via telephone and email both prior to, and upon conclusion of the course to remind you to take advantage of these practice exams.

What are the benefits of taking a practice exam in the UA Testing Office?

Taking a GMAT practice test in the Testing Office gives you the benefit of becoming familiar with the tests design, types of questions, and the controlled testing environment you will encounter on your actual GMAT test date. The results of these practice exams will help inform you of your focus of study and gain an understanding of GMAT scoring. It is also a great opportunity to practice and fine-tune any test-taking strategies. Note about the GMAT Practice Exam: even if you are not enrolled in the THINKTANK PrepCourse, you still have the option to take the practice exam at the UA Testing Office for a $20 fee.**

How do I schedule a practice exam?

To schedule a practice exam, please call the Testing Office at (520) 621-7589. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. You must schedule an appointment in advance, no walk-ins are permitted. You will be allotted approximately four hours to test, so appointments can start no later than 1:00pm.

Where is the testing office located?

Our address is 1600 E. First Street. Our office is located on the southeast corner of 1st Street & Cherry Avenue.

How will I receive the scores for the exams?

Upon completion of your practice GMAT, you will receive an immediate scoring for the verbal and quantitative sections of the exam. Please record these scores and give them to your instructor. The Analytical Writing and Integrated Response sections are NOT graded. Therefore, you have the option of skipping over these sections.

What should I expect on the actual test date?

To view test centers, dates, and schedule your GMAT test date, please visit www.mba.com/tt he-gmat.aspx. When checking in at the testing center, you must provide an acceptable current ID (see: www.mba.com/the-gmat/test-day/presenting-proper-identification.aspx).
