Electronic Devices

The use of cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in the Testing Centers. Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:

  • Cell phones.
  • Audio players/recorders, tablets, laptops, notebooks, Google Glass, Smart Watches, or any other personal computing devices.
  • Cameras or any other photographic equipment.
  • Any devices, including digital watches, that can be used to record, transmit, receive, or play back audio, photographic, text, or video content.

Candidates are provided a locker for the duration of the exam for storing their personal belongings. The Testing Office or exam partner is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal items.

All electronic devices are required to be turned off and placed in a Testing Office locker.   During testing, if a candidate's electronic device sounds or staff observes a candidate using it at any time (including during breaks), it will be reported according to the policy established by the exam partner. Candidates may be dismissed, scores may be canceled and there may be other consequences as deemed by the Testing Office and exam partner.
