No Cell Phone Policy
The use of cell phones and other electronic devices as noted below, is not permitted within our test labs. Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:
- Cell phones
- Audio players/recorders, tablets, laptops, notebooks, Google Glass, Smart Watches, or any other personal computing devices
- Cameras or any other photographic equipment
- Any devices, including digital watches, that can be used to record, transmit, receive, or play back audio, photographic, text, or video content
Students will be provided access to a locker to use during the duration of their exam for personal belongings. The Testing Office is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items, including electronic equipment/devices when using the lockers.
All stored electronics are required to be turned off or set on silent as to not disturb other testers. During testing, if a student's electronic device makes noise, or staff sees students using it at any time (including during breaks), it will be reported according to the regulations established by the testing companies. Students may be dismissed, scores can be cancelled, and may face additional consequences.
