Need a quiet area to take your virtually proctored exam?
The Quiet Room in the University's Testing Office can be reserved by UArizona students needing a private, distraction-free space to take virtually proctored exams. It is not meant to be used as a study room. The room is located in a remote area of the Testing Office and only includes use of the space. The space includes a chair, desk, electrical outlets, and Wi-Fi access. Equipment, testing support and proctoring services are not provided. Issues with the proctoring service should be directed to the Proctor's Help Desk (i.e. ProctorU, HonorLock, Examity, etc.).
The person reserving the room must comply with the University's Code of Conduct. The Testing Office reserves the right to monitor and terminate use of the room if it becomes disruptive to normal operations.
Required Identification:
A CatCard or valid government-issued ID.
Registration:
All reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. When submitting a request, allow time for preparation and set-up in addition to the test length. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. The Testing Office will send an email confirmation within 2 business days of receipt. Room Policies:
You must sign in and out at the Testing Office front desk.
You are responsible for adhering to the given guidelines. The Testing Office reserves the right to prohibit an individual's further use of the room for disorderly conduct or failure to abide by guidelines.
You are responsible for the condition of the room and may be billed for any damage.
You must not bring food into the room.
You must vacate the room at least 15 minutes prior to the closing of the building.
